I need help connecting my digital piano to my computer.?

Hello, i recently got a GEM PRP 800 Digital Piano. I'm not sure how to connect the piano hooked up to the computer. I've got a usb cable that can link them both up, but i'm not sure about which software to use to be able to connect them up and record successfully. I'd like to record myself playing piano using the computer for a more high quality audio. I don't have a midi cable and i'd like to use my usb cable that i already gave. Can someone help me out?
